Jake Lambert fell into a career as a stand up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad, with him promptly placing as a 2015 semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award, Magners New Comedian of the Year, English Comedian of the Year and Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year, and was a finalist in Amused Moose Comedy Awards in 2016.
With two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and a deluge of fantastic reviews under his belt, Jake’s combination of one-liners, short stories and strange thoughts has seen him perform on Comedy Central’s Live From The Comedy Store and ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show, and he was a guest on BBC One’s The Apprentice: You’re Fired this year.
Jake has been out on the road doing tour support for his comedy peers including Michael McIntyre, Jack Dee, Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen, Rob Beckett, and Romesh Ranganathan, as well as gigging at comedy clubs, universities, and theatres across the UK (all the while still making his ever-increasing Twitter following laugh). Jake launched his hugely popular podcast Guest List with Jake Lambert in 2020, building a loyal following.
Jake’s incredible joke writing has made him a firm favourite writing extra material on shows including; The Ranganation, The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Mock The Week, The Now Show, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The News Quiz, Virtually Famous, Bake Off: The Professionals, Bake Off: An Extra Slice, There’s Something About Movies, Cooking with the Stars, Royal Variety, and Netflix’s Flinch.
