Good questions
Tickets, timings, age limits and access: the quick answers.
Tickets
Where do I buy tickets?
Each festival sells tickets through its local box office, and the Tickets button on every show takes you straight there:
- Kilkenny: Ticketsolve
- Belfast: the venue’s own box office: Waterfront Hall or The MAC
- Derry: the Millennium Forum box office
- Castlebar: the TF Royal Hotel & Theatre
Can I get a refund or swap my tickets?
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. If a show is cancelled, you’ll get a refund of the face value of your tickets from the box office you booked with.
I’ve lost my ticket. What now?
Ticket holders are responsible for their tickets after purchase, and we can’t be responsible for lost or damaged tickets. Get in touch with the box office you booked with, or email tickets@thecatlaughs.com and we’ll help if we can.
Is it safe to buy tickets from someone else?
We can only stand over tickets bought directly from Cat Laughs or the official box office linked from each show. Tickets bought elsewhere are at your own risk.
On the night
What if I’m running late?
Late admission isn’t guaranteed, but we’ll let you in if we can. There’s no re-admission unless it’s been arranged in advance.
Are shows suitable for all ages?
Some shows are age restricted. If you’re booking, please check that everyone in your group meets the age limit, and bring ID: you may be asked for it at the door.
Can I record or film the show?
No. Recording equipment of any kind is strictly prohibited, and no recording or filming of any show is permitted.
Might the line-up change?
Occasionally. We reserve the right to add, withdraw or substitute acts and to change the advertised programme when we need to.
Access
Every venue is different, and each venue page has its access details. If you have access needs, contact the venue’s box office or email tickets@thecatlaughs.com before you book and we’ll help you find the right show and seat.
