Kathy Lette has written 14 best selling novels, including ‘Puberty Blues’, which was made into a film and TV mini-series, ‘Mad Cows’ (the film starred Joanna Lumley and Anna Friel) and ‘How to Kill Your Husband and Other Handy Household Hints’ (staged by the Victorian Opera).
Her novels have been published in seventeen languages.
Kathy is an autodidact but has Honorary Doctorates from Southampton and Woolongong Universities plus a Senior Fellowship from Regents University, London. She is an ambassador for Plan International and the National Autistic Society and has a cocktail named after her at the Savoy Hotel. Her latest novel “Best Laid Plans” is soon to be an 8 hour TV series. She cites her career highlights as once teaching Stephen Fry a word, Salman Rushdie, the limbo, and scripting Julian Assange’s cameo in the Simpsons 500th episode.
