Improv All Stars

Four brave performers will arrive with no script and not the faintest idea of what will happen.

Willed on by a supportive crowd, through improvisation they create whole sketches and comic dramas that are amazingly inventive and regularly take off into flights of surreal brilliance.
Featuring some of the most popular characters from the English TV series – The live show follows the same format as the TV show ”Whose Line Is It Anyway?” as seen on Channel 4 / Dave Channel / SKY with loads of audience participation and madcap improvised comedy sketches.

“This show features the improv talents of Stephen Frost, Andy Smart, Steve Steen, Ian Coppinger and special guest Dermot Whelan.

Stephen Frost – Big, bald, bushy browed Stephen is a comedy legend and an improv maestro. He pulls the strings and announces the games, taking audience suggestions and deciding when a sufficient level of breathless hilarity has been reached before moving on to the next game. He has appeared in Whose Line Is It Anyway, The Young Ones and as the overly cheerful head of a firing squad on Blackadder.

Steve Steen – A leading exponent of the art form, Steve was featured in six episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway. He also appeared on Have I Got News For You, is practically a mascot of the Vodafone Comedy Carnival, Galway and had a star turn as Lord Byron in Blackadder The Third.

Andy Smart – Andy is a member of The Comedy Store Players – the longest running comedy show in the world according to the Guinness Book Of Records. For some reason, Andy has run with the bulls in Pamplona over fifty times.

Ian Coppinger – Don’t let the size fool you, or do, if you know what I mean. Ian packs a lot of fun into a five foot frame. One of Ireland’s most successful comics, Ian acts, performs stand up and improvises all around the globe and is the perfect physical foil to Stephen’s hulking presence. Ian has appeared on The Panel and is a long standing member of Dublin Comedy Improv.
